Gravity Negator
A flyer that lends its own trait to the ground. Each combat, the attack trigger offers a chance to hand evasion to another creature, turning a stalled board into a clock by sending your biggest earthbound threat over the top of blockers. The catch is what the trigger demands: , not generic mana, so the effect lives or dies on having a colorless source rather than slotting into any blue shell for free. That requirement is the thread tying this drone to its tribe, where devoid pieces trade flexibility for a manabase built around Wastes and Eldrazi. The 2/3 body holds the air on its own while the trigger does the reach-extension, which makes the drone a taxing thing to leave alive: kill it and your fatties stay grounded; ignore it and they fly. The targeting is deliberately open ("another target creature"), which reads as an invitation to already have a payoff on board rather than a self-contained threat. This is a catalyst, not the finish: a modest cog in a faction's evasion suite that asks you to bring a ground creature worth lifting before it earns its keep.
