Goldenhide Ox

"Must be blocked" effects have always read as offense: name a creature the defending player has to interpose a body against, then untangle the combat math in your favor. Where a static Lure keyword riveted that compulsion to a single body permanently, this Ox routes the same rule through a repeated trigger. The clause works exactly as written: it names one creature that must be blocked if able, and the defender still chooses which of their creatures answers. The lever it gives you is forced commitment against an unevasive board. Point it at one of your grounded beaters and the opponent is compelled to throw a blocker in front of it, freezing a defender against the target you chose and exposing the rest of their board to your other attackers. The 5/4 body is large enough to be a credible attacker the trigger can support, not a creature the deck is built around. What drives the engine is the count of enchantments entering under your control, the Ox itself included: every such entry fires the must-block clause again, so a board built on enchantment density produces a fresh single-target redirection turn after turn rather than once. That recurrence is what separates this from a one-shot combat trick. The Ox supplies no enchantments of its own; it is the trigger that cashes in a deck already leaning on permanents that arrive on the battlefield in numbers.
