Gold Myr

Artifact Creature — Myr2 generic mana

White is the color least built to ramp, which is what makes a small body that taps for white-mana a quiet oddity. The Myr cycle's premise is the dual citizenship of its members: artifacts first, creatures second, so they sit in the column tutored, recurred, and counted by the same tools that fetch Signets and Talismans, while still attacking, blocking, and triggering anything that cares about creatures entering. None of that buys durability. A 1/1 dies to creature removal and sweepers like any small body, and it carries the extra liability of eating artifact removal on top. What the creature type adds over a plain mana rock is access: this fixer also blocks, chumps a swing, wears a buff, and triggers the abilities that key off bodies hitting the field, all of which an inert rock that taps for white could never do. The result is a fixer that doubles as cheap fodder, castable off colorless mana while still producing a single specific color. That low floor is exactly why the Myr became some of the most-reprinted ramp in the game's history. They rarely warp anything, because a 1/1 that makes one mana of one color is never the problem, and they always find a home, because that same modest profile slots into more decks than a flashier accelerant ever could.
