Goblin Gaveleer
A 1/1 whose power scales +2 for each Equipment attached: the multiplier is the pitch, and trample is what turns the count into committed damage rather than a bluff. One Equipment adds at least +2 to its power, two at least +4, before any bonuses the gear grants on its own, and the buff is static rather than a triggered bonus, so the size tracks the gear in real time instead of firing once on attach. Trample does more structural work here than its presence on a one-drop usually implies: a seven-power attacker without it is one 0/1 wall away from doing nothing. Equipment-matters strategies have always wanted a cheap body willing to carry the whole loadout, and this answers that want for a single red mana, accepting a fragile shell as the price of entry. The toughness side is subtler than it looks: the creature's own line only adds power, but much of the gear it wants to hold tends to add toughness too, so a fully kitted Gaveleer is rarely the 1-toughness liability its own ability suggests. The real risk is concentration. Removal aimed at the loaded-up Gaveleer leaves the Equipment behind on the battlefield, but everything the creature was threatening dies with it, and the mana and tempo poured into suiting up have to be reinvested on a new carrier before any of that gear matters again.
