Gloomwidow's Feast
Anti-flier removal that pays you a kicker for hitting the colors most likely to be flying. The destroy clause is unconditional within its narrow lane: anything with flying dies, no questions asked. The Spider token is the wrinkle, gated behind a color check. Kill a blue or black flier and you walk away with a 1/2 reach blocker, a body purpose-built to keep doing the job the spell just did; kill a white or red one and you simply get the kill. That asymmetry is a sharp piece of color-pie commentary baked into a single instant: blue and black are the colors that lean hardest on evasive threats, so the design rewards you specifically for trading with them, then leaves a wall facing the same skies. It is a hatebear in spell form, calibrated against a particular kind of opponent rather than fliers in the abstract. Green has always answered evasion through the back door (reach, big toughness, fight effects) rather than holding open-ended removal, and this is that philosophy compressed: the spell does not pretend green can kill anything, only that green can punish the air and then station a spider where the threat used to be.
