Glacial Revelation

Sorcery2 generic manaGreen mana

The snow theme's payoff for actually committing to a snow manabase, and the card that told you whether the subtheme was a gimmick or a deck. Digging six deep for three mana is a rate green has rarely gotten without a rider on resolution; the rider here is buried in the deckbuilding, not the card. Every nonsnow permanent and every spell you turn up hits the graveyard, so the draw quality scales directly with how much of your library counts as a snow permanent. Build half a snow deck and this reveals a fistful of cards you cannot take; build a dedicated one, where basics are snow-covered and the creatures and lands share the type, and it becomes one of the deepest single-shot refuels green has access to. That conditional is the whole design conversation: the effect is priced as if it were unconditional card advantage, and the tax is paid entirely at the list-building stage rather than on cast. It also feeds graveyard-matters shells as a happy accident, dumping cards you did not want anyway into a resource, though that is incidental to the intent. What it represents is a specific way to gate a powerful effect: not through mana, not through a downside on resolution, but through a construction requirement strict enough that the card is nearly dead in a deck that ignores it and overpowered in one that leans all the way in.
