Giant Harbinger
The Harbinger cycle solved a recurring tribal problem: tutoring for the one creature you needed, but stacking it on top so you still had to draw it. Where most tutors fetch to hand and dump tempo, these put the card on the library's top, trading immediate access for a body and a guaranteed next draw. For Giants, a tribe built on slow, heavy beaters, that delay is closer to a feature than a tax: you are rarely racing, and the 3/4 frame is happy to hold the ground while the real payoff comes off the top next turn. The fixed cost matters here too, since it lets you assemble a curve toward a single haymaker without the variance of hoping to find it. The shuffle clause is the wrinkle worth noting: searching reshuffles the rest of your deck before placing the card, so this resets any prior top-of-library setup rather than respecting it. Honest tribal scaffolding, the kind of consistency engine that makes a top-heavy archetype function without warping it. Within the Harbinger five, the Giant version answers the bluntest design brief: find the big thing, then survive to cast it.
