Ghost Town

Land

A land that can pick itself up off the board, on demand, for free, as long as it isn't your turn. The timing restriction is the entire design: you tap it for colorless like any other source, then return it to hand at instant speed during a window when the turn belongs to someone else, ready to replay it as your land for the turn. That replay is the engine. It does not manufacture an extra land drop; it converts your ordinary one land per turn into a recurring landfall trigger, which is exactly what permanents that count your land plays rather than your land count want from a manabase. The not-your-turn clause keeps that honest: without it, the card would generate triggers at will and warp how cheaply landfall could be exploited. The cost is real in both directions. It produces only colorless, and replaying it consumes the land drop it just freed up, so the loop taxes your sequencing unless you have another way to put lands into play. As a piece of resilience, it also refuses to sit still for land destruction or any answer that resolves on an opponent's turn, since it can simply leave before the spell lands and return on your own turn. Quiet engineering: a colorless source whose value is not in the mana it taps for but in the act of replaying it.
