Conspire is what gives this otherwise routine smoother a ceiling. The base effect is a workmanlike loot at sorcery speed: draw two, discard one, the kind of card selection blue has printed in many shapes. The keyword reprices the bonus the way other costs never quite do, charging not extra mana but a pair of tapped blue creatures, and asking what those bodies are doing when they aren't swinging. The copy stays discrete rather than pooling: each instance draws two and discards one independently, so the copy is its own two-down-one-up event, not a deeper four-card dig. That distinction shapes how you build around it. Because conspire wants untapped creatures, the bodies paying for the copy have to sit back rather than commit to the attack, which rewards a flooded board of mana producers and idle enablers over a swarm that has already turned sideways. The payment being creatures, not mana, also means the card asks a deck to already have a developed blue presence before it offers to convert that standing board into card selection. So one card fixes a single hand on its own and refills two hands when the board is built to pay for the copy: a smoothing spell with an upside priced in untapped creatures, available only to decks already holding the board state to spend.
