Gemhide Sliver

Creature — Sliver1 generic manaGreen mana

Sliver tribal had ramp before this, but it lived on a lord that cost more than the dorks it enabled. Here the mana is welded to a cheap body and, crucially, to every Sliver you already control: each one becomes a mana producer the moment this resolves, which turns a board of small creatures into a fixing engine that taps for any color. That distinction is why the tribe plays differently with it on the table. Slivers are aggressively multicolored by design, asking for white removal, blue evasion, black recursion, and red haste off the same curve, and the bottleneck has always been casting all of it. A board-wide tap-for-any-color answers that bottleneck at the lowest rate the tribe had seen, and it does so without restricting the mana to Sliver spells, so the ramp spills into whatever five-color shell is built around the creatures. The fragility is the counterweight: it is a 1/1 with no protection, and the engine scales exactly as fast as your board does, which means a sweeper does double duty by removing both the bodies and the mana they were generating. A payoff that grows stronger the more exposed it becomes ties its value directly to how committed you already are to the tribe, so the ramp it offers is never free of the risk that built it.
