Geistcatcher's Rig
Six mana for a 4/5 that may shoot one flier on the way in is a rate built around a single structural promise: it is colorless, so it slots into any deck regardless of what its mana base can support. The conditional trigger is hyper-specialized hatred. The four damage only finds creatures with flying, so a ground stalemate is somebody else's problem, and it only fires on entry, so there is no repeatable removal engine hiding here. What the extra mana buys is the insurance of a body with no color requirement and no card disadvantage: a sturdy blocker that happens to clear one evasive threat from the board as it arrives. The design is narrow on both axes by intent. It does not scale, it does not loop, and the trigger answers exactly one category of creature and nothing else. That is a respectable floor and a deliberately hard ceiling. It exists for the deck that owns the ground but has no clean answer to the angel, the bat, or the spirit that would otherwise win the race in the air, giving that deck a single button to press against the threat its colors left it unequipped to handle.
