Green has always paid for its card advantage with a commitment to the board, and this makes that bargain literal: the cards come only off creatures with power 3 or greater, so the deck that wants to refuel has to be playing fat, and it has to keep deploying it. The power threshold does the balancing work. Set it at any creature and this becomes a green Howling Mine that draws you out of every flood; set it at 3 and it ignores your mana dorks, your small tokens, your one-drops, and rewards only the beats green was already trying to deploy. The body earns its keep too: a 4/4 triggers nothing on its own, but it sticks around long enough to cash in the threats that follow it. This is the engine card for a strategy that rarely gets one, the green midrange deck that wants its big creatures to draw more big creatures without ever pretending to be control. The payoff is real, but it is back-loaded and board-dependent in exactly the way green's color identity asks card advantage to be: you earn the refuel by winning the early commitments, not by tapping out for a draw spell.
