Galvanic Giant // Storm Reading
The Adventure layout here forces a sequencing decision that most cards of this shape leave optional. Storm Reading is the only route that keeps both halves: cast the instant first for a four-drawn, two-discarded dig, exile the spent card, and the Giant waits in exile for a later turn. Slam the 3/3 straight from hand and Storm Reading is gone forever. So a deck has to want the refill before it wants the body, an inversion that turns the creature into the reward for having already sunk seven mana into the spell that discarded you down to a real hand. Once the Giant lands, its trigger wants a top-heavy curve to feed it: every spell of mana value five or greater taps an opposing creature and pins a stun counter on it. This is soft tempo suppression rather than removal, closer to a repeated tap-down than a kill, and it favors exactly the expensive-spell density most aggressive decks avoid. The two halves want the same thing from opposite directions: Storm Reading is itself a five-plus spell, so a shell built to trigger the Giant is already glad to cast the instant, and the discard clause that reads as a tax plays as graveyard seeding while you dig. Build heavy and the card pays out twice, provided you resolve the pieces in the order the frame demands.
