A symmetric buff engineered to point everyone's swords away from the controller. The +2/+0 fires for any creature attacking one of your opponents or a planeswalker an opponent controls, never for a creature attacking you, and that single carve-out reshapes the geometry of a multiplayer table. Every player now has a standing incentive to send their attack at someone else, because that is where the extra power lives; the opportunity cost falls on whoever considers coming after you, since a swing in your direction collects nothing. The reward is shared, but the board state is not. In a four-player game, three separate attack steps can each draw the bonus while your own life total stays quiet, and the instant an attacker pivots toward you, the trigger goes silent. The controller still profits most, since their own attacks into opponents also get the bump, but the deeper work happens inside the other players' heads: they now have a subsidy to fight each other. The 4/4 body is almost incidental. The design rewards a build that can absorb or deter the swings it does not redirect (defensive bodies, deterrents that punish whoever chooses to come at you) rather than one that merely wants bigger attackers. This is the politics-and-defense end of the Naya wedge, where the win condition is steering the war rather than starting it.
