Fortified Village
This land pays for its untapped entry with information rather than a fixed life cost or a permanently slow turn. Reveal a Forest or Plains card from your hand and it arrives ready on curve; come up empty and it enters tapped, a soft tax on a grip light on the right land types. The check reads your hand, not your board, which is the whole distinction between this generation of duals and the battle lands that count basics already in play: this one wants a land still held in reserve, the battle land wants fixing already deployed. Because the condition demands only that a card be shown, never played, it stacks cleanly with lands that carry the relevant basic land types, letting a single copy in hand satisfy the reveal turn after turn. The effect is a barometer of your own draw quality. Early, with a full hand and a Forest or Plains easy to flash, it behaves like an untapped dual; late, after the fixing has already hit the table and the hand has emptied, it slows to a tapland's crawl. The result is a quiet, self-regulating piece of mana-base engineering whose value climbs or sinks with how many green-or-white lands are still in hand, rewarding grips that hold one of the two land types in reserve and punishing the ones that dumped every land early.
