Formation Breaker

The pump clause is the tell for where this creature belongs. A 2/1 that grows to a 3/3 the moment you control a creature with a counter on it is not asking to be built around: it is asking to be dropped into a deck that already generates counters as a byproduct, which is most of the green midrange and go-wide-with-tokens builds that lean on +1/+1 counters in the first place. Once the condition is met, the evasion clause turns from marginal into oppressive: at three power, only creatures with power three or greater can declare a block, which quietly walks it past most token chumps, mana dorks, and small utility bodies without needing a keyword like trample or menace. The two abilities feed each other by design. The static pump raises the power number, and the block restriction is priced off exactly that number, so the same condition that makes the body bigger also widens the pool of blockers it ignores. What it does not have is any self-sufficiency: with an empty board of counters it is a fragile 2/1 that a 2/2 can trade with all day, and the evasion only bites creatures strictly smaller than it. That is the honest ceiling on the design. It is a two-drop that rewards a counters shell for what the shell was already doing, not a card that generates the payoff on its own.
