Flinthoof Boar
A Gruul beatdown two-drop built to punish opponents who relax against a green deck. The static bonus turns it into a 3/3 the moment a Mountain hits the battlefield, which is the body green wants at this cost but normally has to pay a drawback for; here the only price is a manabase that already wanted both colors. The haste activation is the second half of the design: it lets the boar shed the predictability of a green ground creature, jumping in for surprise damage or pressing through a window before blockers stabilize. What lifts it past a vanilla beater is how cheaply it asks for both effects. The +1/+1 wants only a single Mountain in play, not red mana spent, so it scales for free in any deck splashing red; the haste asks for one red mana on the turn you need it and nothing on the turns you don't. That split (a passive bonus paid by your lands, an active bonus paid by your mana) is what lets it slot into aggressive two-color builds without forcing a commitment either way. An efficient, low-friction aggressive creature that rewards a deck already leaning on red and green rather than one bending to accommodate it.
