Two mechanics that almost never share a win condition, stapled into one engine: investigate makes Clues, and this turns the act of cracking your own Clues into a mill clock. The enters trigger hands you exactly one Clue, but that is the smaller half. The recurring clause cares about every Clue you sacrifice, not just the one this enchantment minted, which is why it scales alongside a dedicated Clue-producing shell rather than functioning as a standalone threat. The design tension lives in what a Clue normally does. Cracking a Clue is a draw spell, a card-advantage move you were going to make anyway; this reframes that same sacrifice as a payoff you collect for free, so you draw the card and a target player loses three off the top in the same gesture. Note the precise wiring: it does not fire on opponents' sacrifices, and it does not see Treasures, Foods, or other artifact tokens. The trigger is keyed to your own Clues specifically, which is what keeps it a build-around instead of a free-floating mill enabler. Left alone it accomplishes one mill of three and then sits there; surrounded by enough investigate sources, it converts an incidental card-draw subtheme into a self-replicating deck-destruction loop. It is a card that does nothing impressive in isolation and a great deal once you assemble the Clue supply to feed it.
