Flaming Fist Officer
Every death, every bounce, every flicker that sends one of your other creatures away feeds this one. The trigger keys on leaves the battlefield, not on death specifically, so it counts sacrifice fodder, blinked value creatures, and tokens expiring at end of turn all the same. That breadth is the design's whole point: a card that cared only about dying would sit idle when you flickered an engine or bounced a blocker out of combat, but this one takes a counter regardless of how the creature departed. It belongs to the aristocrats lineage, where creatures are inventory to be spent rather than protected; it converts the attrition your permanents suffer into one accumulating threat, growing off the exact events that would otherwise thin your board. The restraint is that the 2/2 body starts unthreatening and its growth is entirely parasitic on your own turnover, so it accomplishes nothing in a vacuum and demands a deck willing to churn through its own permanents deliberately. As a go-wide payoff it works on a different axis from the drain effects it usually shares a shell with: no life loss, no reach, just a body that swells the more freely you cycle everything else through the graveyard, the exile zone, or the command zone.
