Return a mana dork, a hatebear, or a value engine at end step, and you both bank its ability again next turn and stack counters equal to its power onto a vigilant body. The power-scaling clause is the interesting seam. Most self-growth effects on green fatties add a fixed amount or key off the number of things you do; this one reads the outgoing creature's power directly, which means the payoff is proportional to what you were already willing to give up tempo for. Bounce something small and the growth is incidental; bounce a fat token or a pumped-up beater and the counters arrive in a lump. That the trigger fires on your own end step, at the last moment before you pass, is what keeps it honest: no combat surprise, no instant-speed reset of a board state, just a scheduled swap that costs you a creature's presence for a turn cycle in exchange for a permanent buff. Vigilance is the quiet enabler, letting the accumulated body attack without surrendering the blocker you built it into.
