Fierce Empath
A search engine wearing a chump blocker's body. The 1/1 is incidental; the work is the enters trigger, which converts three mana into guaranteed access to your single biggest creature. This is card selection, not ramp: it doesn't grow your mana, it shortens the distance between your hand and the haymaker buried in your library. The mana-value-six floor is the line that defines the card's whole purpose. It can only find the payoffs, the Eldrazi and dragons and game-enders that justify wrapping a deck around them, which means it never just grabs a better two-drop. You construct the deck so that restriction reads as a feature rather than a tax. Where Worldly Tutor and its kin place the card on top of your library and tax your next draw step, this puts the creature straight into hand the moment it resolves, no turn of waiting. That immediacy is why it pairs so cleanly with reanimation and cheat-into-play plans: the creature it finds is equally a discard outlet's fuel, a sacrifice payload, or a reanimation target, and the Elf that fetched it is a body small enough that nobody minds throwing it in front of an attacker afterward. It is a one-card consistency piece for any strategy whose plan collapses to resolving one enormous creature, and the cheap, expendable body is part of why it asks so little in return.
