Fang of Shigeki

Enchantment Creature — Snake NinjaGreen mana

The type line does more work than the numbers do: a single one-mana body that reads as fair game to enchantment-matters payoffs, creature-count effects, and both Snake and Ninja tribal hooks at once. A one-mana deathtoucher has always been a fine defensive body, trading up and dissuading ground attacks, but the extra typing is what earns it a place in synergy shells a plain green Snake would never see. The Ninja tag is the sharper wrinkle. Deathtouch on a cheap attacker changes the math of blocking: an opponent staring down a 1/1 that kills whatever touches it is often better off taking the point of damage than losing a real creature to it. That reluctance to block is precisely the opening ninjutsu wants, letting the Snake connect unopposed and then get pulled back to hand so something larger can be dropped in on the now-open lane. So the same body plays two ways depending on the turn: a wall that makes attacking into it expensive, or an evasive-by-neglect enabler that trades its swing for a bigger threat's arrival. None of the pieces shouts. The value sits in how many deckbuilding categories can list it honestly as a one-drop they wanted anyway, each for a reason the others don't share.
