Instant speed is where it earns its keep, sitting in an end step behind held-up interaction so you can represent a counter or removal and only cash in the loot once the coast is clear. The two life is small but rhymes with a color pair that wants to stabilize before it pulls ahead. Total castings cap at two, then the card leaves the loop permanently, the deliberate governor on the whole thing: you get the filtering twice, enough to feed a graveyard plan without spiraling into a repeatable value engine that a deck bends itself around.
