Ezuri, Renegade Leader

The two abilities split the labor of an Elf engine cleanly: the first regeneration mode keeps the board intact through sweepers and combat math, the second turns a wide stand of small green creatures into a lethal alpha strike. What makes the second mode the heart of the card is its repeatability. With enough mana from the Elf bodies themselves (the same creatures it pumps), the overrun activation can be fired more than once in a turn, doubling and tripling +3/+3 on a board until trample carries the whole thing through any blocker. That feedback loop, mana dorks fueling a finisher that makes more attackers out of those same dorks, is the entire reason green Elf decks treat this as their payoff rather than a role-player. The regeneration line is the quieter half but does real work: it protects key mana producers and the leader's own swarm against targeted removal and red sweepers, and unlike most green protection it costs only a single green to fire, leaving room to develop. Green has had Elf lords before, but most stopped at a static buff; folding both a protection valve and a scalable, mana-hungry win condition into one three-drop made this the card the tribe was built around rather than one more anthem in the stack.
