Everything Comes to Dust

A wrath that reads your board before it reads the opponent's. The convoke clause is not just a discount here; it is a selection mechanism. The creatures you tap to help cast this decide what survives, because a noncreature-permanent-free creature sharing a type with a convoker walks away untouched. Tap a Soldier and non-artifact, non-enchantment Soldiers stay; tap a Sliver and most of the tribe lives. That turns a symmetrical exile into an asymmetrical one, and it does the work through the same creatures that paid for the spell, so the more you commit to the cast, the more your side is spared. The design solves an old problem in white board wipes: the color that builds go-wide creature decks has always paid the same tax as its opponent when the sweeper lands. This one lets a tribal or token board fund its own survival, exiling (not destroying, so it dodges regeneration and indestructibility) most of the other side while your typed creatures stand. Artifacts and enchantments are not spared; they get swept along with the untyped creatures, so this is a hard reset of creatures, artifacts, and enchantments rather than a clean creature-only answer. The tension it navigates is between reach and self-preservation: a ten-mana sorcery is unplayable at full price, but the convoke ceiling means a wide board casts it cheaply and keeps a slice of itself intact, while a narrow board pays dearly for a wipe that clears most of its own board too. The card asks how committed your creatures are to a shared type, and answers accordingly.
