Enslaved Horror

Spend four mana on a 4/4 with no evasion, and the only ability you get for it works against you: when it enters, every other player at the table may reanimate a creature from their graveyard. The trigger never touches your own yard, never lets you steer the gift, never checks whether anyone's graveyard is worth raiding. It simply fires for everyone but the caster. That penalty scales with the company you keep: the deeper your opponents' graveyards, the more this hands them, which makes the body's downside a function of how good their decks are rather than your own. It belongs to a school of drawback design from the period when riders were written as flat, undercosted taxes paid straight to the opposition rather than the symmetric or self-serving conditions later cards favored. The shape is almost charming in its bluntness: a creature whose printed cost was discounted, in the designers' math, by the help it offers the table. In a duel that help has one beneficiary and the math collapses; across a crowd it becomes a strange political instrument, a card that hands everyone else a creature back from their graveyard at once, well before table-politics framing was anything Wizards talked about out loud. The result is a body that is genuinely hostile to the person casting it, which is a rare thing to engineer on purpose.
