Energybending
The Lesson subtype tells you this was built to be fetched, not opened cold: it lives in an outside-the-game pool waiting for an effect that reaches out and pulls it in, arriving at instant speed the moment the manabase betrays you. What arrives is a cantripping omni-fixer. Granting your lands every basic land type is the same trick Prismatic Omen and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove pull, but stapled to a card draw and delivered at instant speed, which changes the timing math. The lands it affects are the ones already on the battlefield, so this is not a search effect: it turns your untapped lands into any color you need right before you cast, at the end of an opponent's turn, or in response to something on the stack. The cantrip is the honest version of that power. It does not accelerate you and it does not ramp; it papers over a color screw and replaces itself. The instant-speed window is also its narrow but real synergy application: anything that keys off a land's type (an effect that checks whether you control a Swamp, domain counts, land-type-matters payoffs) can be switched on at exactly the right moment and switched back off by end of turn. Most of the time, though, it is smoothing insurance you tuck away and grab when your colors stop cooperating.
