Elvish Bard

A Lure stapled to a body, and a more interesting one than the enchantment because the effect lives on a creature rather than hanging off one of yours. The design is a forced-blocking valve: rather than handing you a way to push a single attacker through, it compels the entire opposing board into the combat math, which is exactly what you sent it in to accomplish. Attack into a clogged ground and every creature able to block it has to, peeling those blockers off the rest of your team and opening lanes for everything swinging alongside it. The four toughness is the discipline that makes the clause worth running: it survives a chump-block or a single mid-sized creature, so the Bard does not simply die on contact the way a one-toughness Lure-holder would. Against a full gang-block it still dies, and that is fine, because the redirected blocks are the payment you wanted; the work is all in the trample-and-pump attack it sets up around it. The clause only redirects blocks toward this creature when it is the one attacking, so the trick is building the rest of the swing around the funnel rather than expecting the Bard to deal the damage itself. That it rides on an Elf Shaman hands tribal builds a body with a combat-altering rider, and the card sits inside green's long-running interest in dictating how combat resolves rather than simply outsizing the opponent.
