Teamwork asks you to tap creatures with total power five or more, and in exchange it rewrites the reward entirely: without it, this digs eight deep for a single creature, the kind of green tutor-into-play effect that has existed in various shapes for decades. Pay the teamwork tax and the ceiling collapses upward, dropping every creature card revealed straight onto the battlefield. That gap between the two modes is the whole design tension. Green has always been the color of raw creature volume, but it rarely gets to convert a wide board into a wider one in a single action; here the board you already have is literally the fuel that empties the top eight into play. The self-limiting logic is elegant: to enable the big mode you have to commit power that is already on the table, which means the card rewards a developed position rather than a fresh hand, and it punishes over-tapping into open mana. It is a top-of-curve haymaker that scales with how far ahead you already are, which is a deliberately dangerous place for green to be given how cheaply it fills a board beforehand. The residue matters too: whatever you cannot cheat in mills itself into the graveyard, so recursion decks treat the whiffs as fuel rather than waste.
