Eager Construct

The clever thing about the enters-the-battlefield trigger is that the symmetry was the point: a 2/2 for two with a scry rider that, by handing the same look to every player, almost erases its own advantage. A private scry smooths your draw at no cost to anyone; this one smooths the whole table's. The result is a filter so muted it barely registers as upside, which is exactly the leash a common artifact body of this rate needs to stay harmless. The body is the honest part: a colorless two-drop that slots into any color, plays whatever curve asks for it, and asks nothing of the deck around it. Wherever the real currency is artifact count rather than what the stat line reads, the scry clause fades into background noise and the type line does the work: any deck that wants a cheap Construct gets one, and the each-player symmetry stops mattering because nobody is being asked to value the trigger. Plain enough to be forgettable on rate, generic enough to keep turning up anywhere the deck needs a colorless artifact creature and nothing more specific than that.
