Dwell on the Past

SorceryGreen mana

Graveyard hate that runs in reverse: instead of exiling cards from a bin, it folds them back into the library where they cannot be replayed, recurred, or counted toward a threshold total. The choice of "shuffle into library" over "exile" is where the design lives. Exile is clean and final; this is permanent only in the sense that the cards leave the graveyard, but they rejoin the deck at random, a softer answer that doubles as deck disruption against anyone hoarding a stocked bin. The randomization matters: the reanimation target you bury might be redrawn, but it might also vanish into the bottom half, and either way it stops being a graveyard payoff. It reads "target player," so the green caster can point it at their own graveyard to dodge mill or recycle a spent spell into a fresh draw. The four-card cap means this is a surgical tool rather than a full reset: you pick off the specific recursion engine, the flashback spell waiting to be cast, or the count an opponent is building toward. Green has always been one of the colors that shuffles graveyards back into libraries, a lineage that runs through Gaea's Blessing and later Endurance, but doing it proactively at sorcery speed for a single mana, aimed wherever you like, is the unusual part. The constraint is timing. It does nothing against a graveyard that has already paid out, so the window is everything.
