Drowsing Tyrannodon
A 3/3 for two mana is the rate green usually reserves for its aggressive one-drops-that-grow, and here it comes stapled to defender so it earns that body by pulling early defensive duty first. The conditional that lifts defender (controlling a creature with power 4 or greater) reframes the card as a payoff rather than a beater: it sits in front of opposing aggression while the deck assembles a heavier body, then joins the offense once that body lands. That inverts the usual defender contract. Most walls trade combat participation for outsized toughness that stonewalls attackers indefinitely; this one carries ordinary toughness and instead offers a promise of future aggression contingent on the board growing up around it. The design is a low-rarity teaching card for the "big creatures matter" theme, handing a green ramp or stompy shell an early blocker that stops being dead weight the moment a fatty resolves. The wrinkle worth noting is that its own power falls a point short of the threshold, so it usually needs a partner meeting the requirement, though a pump effect that lifts it to power 4 or greater lets it turn itself on.
