Draugr's Helm
Equipment usually has a dead-card problem: you draw it with no creature to hold it, and it sits there as a two-mana rock waiting for a body. This one solves that in the cleanest way available, by bundling the creature into the cast. Pay the surcharge on entry and you get a 2/2 Zombie Berserker already wearing the gear, which snaps immediately into a 4/4 with menace, and you never have to have committed a creature to the board first. Skip the surcharge and it behaves like ordinary Equipment, generous on the buff (+2/+2 and evasion) but stingy on the equip cost. That two-mode structure is the actual design: the token isn't a bonus, it's the answer to the format-old question of what to do when Equipment is a card you'd rather not have drawn in a stalled or empty position. The +2/+2 with menace pushes damage through gummed-up boards, and because the Equipment survives its host, the buff redeploys onto the next creature once the first one dies, turning a single card into repeatable pressure across a grind. The equip cost keeps that redeployment honest: moving it mid-game is expensive enough that you're usually happier building around the token it makes rather than shuffling it between bodies.
