A creature with a variable removal clause built in, but the variable is one your board determines as the trigger resolves, this creature included as your Rogue: the -X/-X equals however many of the four classes (Cleric, Rogue, Warrior, Wizard) you actually assembled across your board. A full party makes this a debuff that shrinks anything up to a 4/4 out of existence; a lone Rogue with no companions leaves you a 3/2 for six mana and a shrug. That gap is the whole point. The mechanic rewards spreading a creature base across four classes rather than stacking a single tribe, and this is the capstone tuned to embarrass the deck that never diversified, earning its rate only if the earlier drops did the assembly. Because it shrinks rather than destroys, a partial party still has uses beyond outright kills: strip enough toughness to finish an X/1 or X/2, or soften a bigger threat so a modest attacker trades up through it. And since the debuff rides an enters-the-battlefield trigger rather than a spell locked to your turn, the timing is looser than it looks: flash it in, blink it, or reanimate it during an opponent's attack, and the -X/-X lands as a defensive answer while the swing is still live. It belongs to the family of creature-type payoffs that ask you to count your own board before you can measure their power, and that count is the one number the card refuses to print.
