How this card plays

The end-step blink folds two of white-blue's most-taxed effects into one trigger, and the decks that want it are already building around enters-the-battlefield value rather than chasing it. Brago, King Eternal lists in the flicker shell are the obvious neighbor, but Brago wants the trigger on combat damage; this is the alternative axis, an engine that fires whether or not you connect, so the two coexist rather than compete. The cleaner fit is a creature-blink commander like Roon of the Hidden Realm, where a 4/6 vigilance body that resets one creature and one artifact every end step turns Solemn Simulacrum, Cloudblazer, or a Sakashima clone into a recurring engine without committing a card to either subgame.

This is a Bracket 3 card, occasionally Bracket 4 in tuned blink builds. The trigger is too slow for cEDH, where five mana at sorcery speed buys nothing the deck needs. Inside the archetype it competes with Soulherder and Conjurer's Closet for the recurring-flicker slot: Soulherder is cheaper and grows, Closet is colorless and doesn't die to creature removal, but neither hits an artifact and a creature in the same trigger, and neither attacks for four. The artifact half is for re-triggering nontoken artifacts with enter effects, not for token tricks. Note that the blink only ever leaves the battlefield for an instant, so it does not work on Treasures or any token: a token that leaves ceases to exist rather than returning.

Pricing should sit in the sub-$5 to $5-15 range for a recent printing; the bracket is what matters, and the bracket is "optimized blink, not casual goodstuff." It is invisible in decks without flicker payloads, which is most white-blue tables. Don't run it as a value body and expect the engine to assemble itself.
