Doctor Jane Foster
White's reanimation has always come with a toll: pay more, exile the target, restrict it to small bodies, or gate the effect behind a condition. The enter trigger here takes the last route. Return a three-mana-or-less creature card from your graveyard to your hand, and if you gained life earlier this turn, that creature walks straight onto the battlefield instead. The lifegain rider is the throttle that keeps the payoff proportional: it asks for a shell where incidental lifegain is already happening, then upgrades the recursion from card advantage to a battlefield return when it does. That enabler rarely costs a deck slot, since white already stacks lifegain and cheap utility creatures in the same builds; the toolbox you fish from (a Mother of Runes, a Ranger-Captain of Eos, a sacrifice body worth replaying) fits the same shell that turns the point of life on. Vigilance does quiet work on the 2/3 frame, holding back a blocker while still pressuring, which suits a card whose recursion targets are utility bodies rather than finishers. The trigger fires once on entry, so this is a one-shot rather than an engine; the repeatable value lives in flicker and bounce effects that re-run it. What the design represents is white leaning into its secondary reanimation identity, taking a battlefield-return effect it normally rations behind steep costs and keying the discount to a resource the color hands out for free.
