Dhund Operative
A static condition is the whole gamble here: control an artifact and a plain 2/2 becomes a 3/2 with deathtouch, a body no blocker can profitably stop and no attacker can swing past unpunished. The structure rewards a deck already running artifacts as a baseline rather than asking for a dedicated build, since the condition is met by anything from a Servo token to a Treasure to a piece of equipment. Deathtouch is the load-bearing half: a 3/2 trades up against anything, holding off larger creatures on defense and threatening unfavorable blocks on offense, while the extra power makes those trades lopsided rather than even. Because the ability is static and not triggered, it switches off the instant the condition lapses: remove the artifact, sacrifice it, or simply never draw one, and the creature reverts to a vanilla 2/2 doing none of what the deathtouch keyword promised. That on-off fragility is what keeps the rate fair; it is also a tax on sequencing, since the creature is only as good as the artifact still standing beside it on a given turn. The design sits in the lineage of black aggressive two-drops whose ceiling depends on the rest of the board cooperating, with the wrinkle that the cooperation here is colorless and freely splashable rather than tied to a creature type or a graveyard count.
