Devout Invocation

Sorcery6 generic manaWhite mana

The token count matches your board one-to-one: tap five untapped creatures during resolution and five 4/4 flying Angels arrive to stand beside the five now-tapped originals, and the effect scales straight up from a wider board. The cost is written into the resolution rather than the mana line: this is a sorcery, fired on your own turn, and every creature you tap is left tapped, unable to block or pay any cost that needs the tap symbol until it untaps (untap-independent abilities still fire, but the bodies are out of the combat math for a full turn cycle). That is what fixes it as a closer rather than a way to claw back ground: you press the button when you already control the table and want the air to seal it. Its lineage is the wide-board finisher that widens rather than pumps. Where an anthem or a trample enabler converts a standing board into one lethal swing, this converts a tapped board into a larger board of permanent evasive threats that survives to the next turn. That permanence is the whole distinction between casting it on a board that is merely ahead and casting it on a board that has the game wrapped up: the former hedges against a stall, the latter is bookkeeping. It is unapologetically a top-of-curve haymaker for a creature deck that has already gotten in front, a spell whose only payoff is the combat that comes after it.
