Devouring Greed
Every Spirit you sacrifice converts to two life swung in both directions, on top of a base two-point drain, which makes this a finisher built specifically for a Spirit-token engine: the kind of deck that floods the board with chump bodies and then needs a way to cash them in for something terminal. It belongs to an older tradition of converting a wide board into a lethal life swing, but the resource being spent here is the same tribe the deck is built around, so casting it is a deliberate endgame rather than incidental value. You are not discarding fodder you no longer want; you are closing the game by spending the army that got you there. Being Arcane lets it serve as a legal host for Splice onto Arcane, so a deck running those payload spells can graft extra effects onto the cast as the capstone of a multi-spell turn. The mirrored numbers (you lose-them-life, you gain-the-same) give the spell two faces: a race-stabilizer when you are behind and a kill when you are ahead, with the only variable being how many Spirits you can afford to part with at the moment of casting.
