Deadeye Quartermaster

Creature — Human Pirate3 generic manaBlue mana

A tutor body that fetches into your hand instead of the battlefield, which is exactly why it asks so little of the deck around it. Equipment and Vehicle tutors usually have to pick one or the other; this one spans both, fetching the Sword or the giant flying threat with the same trigger. The catch is the rate: four mana for a 2/2 that hands you a card you still have to cast and, in the Vehicle case, crew or pilot before it does anything. So the body is filler and the trigger earns the slot, which makes it a deck-thinner and a consistency engine rather than a tempo play. The fetch-to-hand clause carries real weight: it keeps the equipment off the board until you have a creature worth suiting up, dodges the blowout of having a hot piece of gear destroyed before it is attached, and lets you bank the right Vehicle for the turn you can actually animate it. Built for a board state that wants a specific artifact rather than any artifact, it earns its keep in decks already leaning on a marquee Equipment or a fleet of crewable threats, and not much anywhere else.
