Darling of the Masses
The Citizen payoff built for a token type that spans two colors and no single tribe, which is the design problem it exists to solve. Citizen is a deliberately generic creature type: it shows up on tokens across white, green, and Selesnya broadly, so a lord that keys off it is really a lord for a whole strategy rather than a race. The 2/4 body is the tell. It anthem for other Citizens (+1/+0, offense only) while staying wide enough on defense to survive the swings its own aggression invites, and it refuses to pump itself, so removing it costs the deck the buff but not a tempo-positive attacker. The attack trigger closes the loop that most anthem creatures leave open: rather than needing outside token generation to feed the lord, it manufactures its own bodies every combat, each one arriving already boosted by the +1/+0. That makes it a self-sustaining go-wide engine on a single card, where the usual template splits the anthem and the token maker into two slots. The friction is that everything happens in the attack step, so a defensive turn produces nothing and the whole plan lives on the assumption that you can keep swinging.
