Creepy Doll

The horror-movie killer rendered as a rules engine: it cannot die, and the moment it lands a hit on a creature it might kill that creature outright, but the coin flip means the threat never quite lands reliably. Indestructible on a 1/1 is the load-bearing tension. The body is far too small to win combat on stats, but it survives every hit, and any creature that blocks it risks eating the destroy trigger, yet a sizable share of the removal an opponent expects to draw (burn, fight effects, ordinary destroy spells) simply bounces off it. The destroy trigger is itself one of those ordinary destroy effects, which is the quiet limitation: it kills the average blocker but does nothing to another indestructible creature, and a regenerating one shrugs it off the same way. Indestructible has its clean answers regardless: edicts and sacrifice effects make the coin flip moot, and a -X/-X spell shrinks the 1/1 out from under it, so even black, which famously struggles to destroy what cannot be destroyed, has reliable lines through it. The deeper brake is the trigger condition. The ability fires only on combat damage to a creature, so a player who simply declines to block sends the doll's lone point of damage to the dome and never sees a coin at all. The flip is the joke and the brake at once: it gates a real effect behind variance and behind a blocker volunteering to be hit, so the card reads as menacing while playing as a wall nobody is obligated to feed. This is an early-era horror artifact built to dramatize a trope rather than win games, and it does exactly what it was drawn to do: sit on the table being unkillable and faintly unsettling.
