Naturalize, the green workhorse of artifact and enchantment removal, has always been a hard one-for-one: one instant, one permanent, no scaling. The strive mechanic rewires that math. The single-target mode here is overpriced for what it does, but each additional target taxes another , so the card is built to grow with the board rather than against it. Where most green disenchant effects force you to choose which threat to answer, this one lets you pay your way through several at once: a two-target cast for clears an enchantment and an artifact in one instant-speed window, and the ceiling climbs from there as long as your mana does. The brutal scaling is the discipline the design leans on. The card only earns its rate when a green deck has flooded out and wants to spend a big turn unwinding an opponent's permanent-based engine, which makes it a late-game flexibility tool rather than a tempo answer. The real value is the deferred decision: a ramp or midrange green deck holds up open-ended removal and lets the number of targets be decided at the moment of casting rather than at deckbuilding. Strive turns a stock effect into a mana sink, and that is the entire reason to run it over a flat one-shot.
