Concord with the Kami
The design bet here is that a single enchantment can service three counter-adjacent archetypes green touches (+1/+1 counters, Auras, and Equipment) without demanding you commit to any one of them. The modal end-step trigger reads as a checklist: each mode gates on a board state you were already trying to build, so the reward comes from the overlap rather than from a dedicated shell. What lifts it above a triple-choice value engine is the "choose one or more" phrasing paired with the counter mode's target requirement. Put a counter on a creature once and it stays a legal target forever, so the growth mode never runs dry once primed, and in a board that already fields a countered creature, an enchanted creature, and an equipped creature, you fire all three every end step. The draw and Spirit-token modes are pure incidental value skimmed off states you maintain for other reasons. Because the trigger fires at the beginning of your end step, the card can pay out the same turn it resolves if the board is already assembled; there is no summoning-sickness tax on an enchantment. But that ceiling is conditional: with a bare board the trigger offers nothing, and the payoff scales with how many of the three boxes you can check. That deferred, board-dependent return is what green pays for stapling three archetype rewards onto one four-mana enchantment that asks for no activation cost of its own.
