Component Pouch

Artifact3 generic mana

Fixing that runs on gambling. The mana ability delivers what any two-color deck wants: two mana of different colors, any pairing, no restriction on which colors. But each activation burns a component counter, and the pouch enters play empty, so it produces nothing until you spend a turn tapping to roll. Land a ten or higher and you bank two counters; roll single digits and you inch forward one at a time. That die is the whole design. It turns a plain fixing rock into a resource that snowballs when the rolls run hot and stalls when they run cold, and it poses a sequencing choice every turn: tap to build the reserve, or tap to spend it. The result trades dependability for a ceiling most rocks never reach; over a long game, with cooperative rolls, it can generate more total mana than a fixed-output artifact ever would. It sits among the dice-driven artifacts that make variance the point, leaning into the swing of the roll instead of engineering it away.
