Colossal Whale

A whale surfaces, swallows a creature whole, and coughs it back up only when the whale itself goes under: flavor and function line up unusually well here. Islandwalk makes the body unblockable against exactly the opponents most likely to have a blocker worth removing, so evasion and disruption reinforce each other without either depending on the other; the attack trigger clears whatever the whale would rather not race even after it has already gotten past the wall. What holds the package in check is the leash on the exile itself: not permanent removal but a tempo lever that snaps back the instant the body dies, gets bounced, or otherwise leaves play. That leash cuts both ways. Kill or bounce the attacker and the caged creature comes straight home, sometimes handing the opponent a fresh enter-the-battlefield trigger from whatever value engine they were building around. The seven-mana 5/5 frame keeps the compromise visible: a top-end blue beater whose evasion depends on the opponent running the wrong lands, and whose disruption is borrowed rather than kept, the same bargain Fiend Hunter strikes in white for far less mana. It reads as an old-era take on the temporary-exile creature, a shape blue rarely gets to make, since the color usually settles for tapping or bouncing rather than caging a creature outright.
