Living weapon was built to solve a specific problem: equipment that whiffs when there is no creature to hold it. The mechanic hands the aura-like buff its own disposable body, a 0/0 Germ that lives or dies by the numbers stapled to it, so the equipment always brings a creature the turn it lands and gracefully becomes gear the moment something better arrives. Here the numbers are enormous. A +6/+6 boost turns the Germ into a 6/6 trampler on entry, no cast-support required, and hands that same swing to anything you equip it onto later. That is the whole tension of a living-weapon design at this scale: the token makes the equipment self-sufficient, but the double-green equip cost (mirroring the front-loaded green in the cast) polices how freely you get to relocate the payload. And relocation is deliberately unhurried: equip is sorcery-speed, so moving the gear off a spent Germ and onto a real threat is a main-phase decision, not a combat trick, which forces you to commit to your attacker before you know what your opponent leaves untapped. Most living-weapon cards keep the bonus modest precisely because the free body is doing so much work; this one bets that a six-mana artifact should hit like a haymaker whether it arrives on a Germ or moves onto a bigger body. Trample is the tell it was designed to close games rather than trade: a 6/6-plus body that spills its excess through blockers is a clock, and the equipment survives whatever it was wearing to suit up again.
