Coalition Warbrute
Enlist is the mechanic that lets a stalled board convert idle bodies into one big swing, and this is the trample-carrier built to want exactly that arrangement. The 3/4 frame is deliberately conservative: on its own it trades or bounces off blockers, but the keyword invites you to tap an untapped creature that has finished its work (a mana dork whose ramp is spent, a spare utility body, anything with power to lend) and pour that power onto an attacker that already carries trample. That last detail is the whole calculus. Enlist adds power, not toughness, so the value is purely offensive, and trample is what turns borrowed power into damage that gets through rather than damage a lone chump-blocker eats. The cost has real texture, though: enlist taps a nonattacking creature without summoning sickness, so the creatures you conscript are the ones you might otherwise have swung with or held up for blocks. You spend that flexibility to make one attacker lethal instead of several attackers merely threatening. It rewards a battlefield that has gone wide and gummed up, precisely the state where a ground-based deck most needs a way to break through. As a red aggro tool, it fills the make-the-alpha-strike-connect slot without asking for a combo or a fragile engine, just a board and a swing step.
