Cloudspire Skycycle
Crew 1 is the cheapest crewing tax the game offers short of free, which means this Vehicle rarely sits inert waiting for a pilot: almost any body you control taps it on. But the crew cost is not really the point. The enter trigger distributes two +1/+1 counters among other Vehicles and creatures you control (never itself), and that "and/or Vehicles" clause is the design tell: this is built to reinforce a board of hard-to-crew machines rather than a fragile creature one. You can dump both counters on a single threat or split them across two, but either way the growth lands on permanents that already exist, banked the moment this arrives. Counters on a Vehicle matter more than they look, too: a machine parked at zero crew still carries its buff, and most sweepers that scale to power reach creatures more readily than the artifacts steering alongside them. The flying body is modest and self-sufficient; its job is to evade in the air while handing out durable stat gains to the fleet it belongs to. It sits in the lineage of enter-the-battlefield anthem creatures, reframed for a mechanical archetype: instead of a creature that pumps creatures, a flier that pumps the vehicles around it, with counters as the currency that keeps a go-wide board compounding across turns.
