Cloakwood Swarmkeeper
A one-mana 1/1 whose growth is outsourced entirely to the rest of the deck: the Gathered Swarm trigger fires on any token you control entering, not on tokens this creature makes, so it does no work in a vacuum and asks nothing of you at cast. The payoff arrives only if you are already flooding the board with creature tokens, Treasures, Clues, Food, or anything else that enters as a token. Because the counter lands whenever "one or more tokens" enter, a single spell that makes three tokens still yields exactly one counter, which rewards steady width over explosive single-turn dumps. The counters are permanent, and that permanence is the point: this is not an anthem that evaporates when the enabler leaves. If the token engine dries up or the Swarmkeeper stops seeing new bodies enter, it keeps every counter it has already banked, so a stalled turn or a spent hand does not reset its clock. It sits in a green lineage of go-wide payoffs that convert quantity into a single hard-hitting threat, though most of those live at three or four mana and demand a full board before they matter; this one opens on turn one and accrues into the role. It answers the classic token-deck problem of plenty of bodies and no way to close: here the closer is the accountant, tallying the width the rest of the deck manufactures.
